Our IEEs are curated for each student and contain elements of Visual Acuity, Phonemic Awareness, Auditory and Visual Processing, Decoding (Reading), Encoding (Spelling), Graphia (Writing), Mathematical calculations and manipulations, Executive Functioning, and Frustration Levels. We play a game or two in order to assess the student in a non-confrontational setting.

Please note that Beautiful Minds Educational Services Clinic is a converted 1965 Travel Trailer.  This nonclinical setting is designed to alleviate the stress many children have upon entering a "medical' or office setting.

Due to Covid-19 the following protocols are in place:

  • No more than 3 family members plus the Educational Therapist is allowed in the clinic at the same time.

  • Please provide childcare for children not being assessed or is sessions. They will not be permitted in the clinic.

  • All parties agree to a temperature check prior to admission.  Anyone with a temperature reading of 99.6 will not be allowed in the clinic. All parties agree to wearing a mask that covers the mouth and nose while in the clinic. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.

  • All parties agree to using hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the clinic.

  • The Educational Therapist will be wearing a mouth and nose covering mask with the exception of the Visual/Auditory Processing Assessment.  During that time the Educational Therapist will be wearing a clear face shield.

  • The student and the Educational Therapist will be at opposite ends of a 6 foot table during the Assessment.  At the end of the Assessment, all items touched by the student as well as the table will receive a thorough cleaning with disinfectant.  Then the entire clinic will be dusted with a Microban antimicrobial agent and sealed for 24 hours.
